Nollywood actress Rita Daniels is standing solidly by her daughter, Regina Daniels’s side as she navigates her messy divorce from her husband of over 6 years.
On her Instagram page, she reposted the video of Daniels taking a drug test, as she called her ‘her’ forever pride. Rita prayed that God would continue to bless and protect her in every aspect of her life.
Telling Regina to keep shining, she said, ” Forward ever.
“My forever pride!!
Almighty God shall continue to bless and protect you in every aspect of your life.
Keep shining.
Forward ever, my child”.
Hours ago, Regina had cleared out every allegation of being a drug addīct as she underwent drug tests. Sharing a video of the process, she stated that the past few months of her life had been nothing short of challenging and a major turning point, one that shook her to her core. Daniels said she decided to take the test because she owes it to the people who stood by her, love her, and look up to her.
It has been a tough time for Regina who is going through a messy divorce from her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko and battling custody of her kids.
Recall that in November, Regina ended things with him citing domestic violence as her reasons for leaving her marriage.
Ned, in a public statement, had attributed the tension to what he described as her “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” According to Nwoko, his efforts to help his wife seek professional treatment are always resisted.
In an interview with NAN, the politician explained that he wants Regina to go to rehab to be alive and healthy, not just for himself, but for their children
In December, Regina had called out Ned for ostracising her from her kids, revealing that she hasn’t spoken to them since mid-November. Daniels claimed Ned had dismissed all her nannies, pressured them into making false statements and has filed for full custody, despite already having the children in his care.
In a follow-up post, she shared her chat with one of her kids’ nannies, who told her that she had resigned as the politician was taking out his frustration on their marital issues on them. She expressed her sympathy at not being able to take care of Moon.
Responding to her, Nwoko described her account as misleading and inconsistent with their family’s past practices. He said that sharing photos and videos of the children had always been a normal part of family life. According to him, Regina Daniels had also posted the children publicly for years without raising privacy concerns. Nwoko stated that her absence from the children’s lives was a personal choice, not something imposed on her.
