Nollywood actress, Rita Daniels, the mother of Regina, has shared a photo of her son, Sammy, in police custody.
Naijaonpoint recalls that Sammy was arrested on Monday amid the marital woes between Regina and her billionaire husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Regina’s brother, Sweezy, in a post via Instagram, accused Senator Ned Nwoko of intimidation, stating that the brother’s case is no longer an arrest.
Sweezy stated that Sammy West was denied legal aide and access to food and water.
Sammy was later transferred from Lagos to Abuja, where his parent met with him, attempting to secure his release.
Taking to her Instagram page on Thursday, Rita shared a photo of Sammy, stating that she is heartbroken.
She wrote, “Oh God, my heart is broken.”
Meanwhile, Regina has expressed profound joy over the reconciliation of her long-estranged parents, describing their reunion as a long-awaited moment of peace for her family.
The actress, in a heartfelt Facebook post on Thursday, said her parents, who had been “sworn enemies” for years, buried their differences purely for her happiness.
Daniels wrote that the reconciliation came with no hidden motives, adding that she could not help but reflect on how far her family had come.
“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness. And I dare question God for putting me in this situation?” she said.
