Joining her, Saidi Balogun questioned what joy was greater than this as he noted how his son had made him very proud. Praying for him, Saidi, who lost one of his daughters last year, expressed gratitude to his Maker for bringing joy back into his heart.

Laat year, in celebration of Faithia’s birthday, Chioma Akpotha emotionally recounted her good deeds to her and her son. She recalled how Faithia was there for her and her son when they went on a Nollywood trip to the UK, which was Chioma’s first trip outside Nigeria.

Similarly, her junior colleague, Kemi Korede, had penned an appreciation note to Faithia Williams, recounting how Faithia stood by her and honored her birthday invitation. She recalled the sweet surprise the veteran actress gave her to mark her new age.

Wumi Toriola, on her part had sent a special gift to Faithia, which she made known on her Instagram page as she admonished her fans to pray for Wumi.

Faithia shares two kids, Khalid and Aliyah with ex-husband, Saidi Balogun. The two got married in 2000 at Ikorodu registry and divorced fourteen years later. Their divorce was quite messy, and Saidi, who told the court that he could not live under the same roof with his estranged wife due to irreconcilable differences, also demanded, among other requests, that Faithia drop his name, Balogun.
