In the viral clip, Bimpe, who sat between the two men, was seen chatting with Jide.

Social media users were displeased with the video, claiming Lateef was very uncomfortable with the way Bimpe was gisting with Lateef beside him.

Speaking out, Bimpe noted that a one-minute clip has become a topic of public analysis. She said it is fascinating how a normal conversation between friends has become suspicious to people.

Bimpe told critics that not all marriages are built on fear, insecurity, and constant monitoring. She made it known that her husband is a secure man and a brief conversation with a family friend doesn’t threaten their marriage.

“A one-minute clip of myself & Jide has somehow become a topic of public analysis. It is fascinating how a normal conversation between friends has become suspicious to some of you. Not every marriage is built on fear, insecurity, and constant monitoring. Some marriages are built on trust, friendship, respect, and confidence. The fact that so many of you found that interaction strange says more about the relationships you’re used to than it does about mine. Not every marriage is toxic; there are still healthy marriages, but I understand if you can’t relate
My husband is a secure man; a brief conversation with a family friend does not threaten our marriage or require anyone’s concern.”

Kemi Filani reported a few days ago that Bimpe recalled not being invited to baby showers, naming ceremonies, children’s birthdays, or anything related to kids because she didn’t have a child.

In a message to the public, she told them to stop excluding TTC women, as a woman without a child isn’t less deserving of love, friendship, inclusion, or celebration.

Her statement didn’t sit well with Bukky Jesse, who called her manipulative. She accused Bimpe of manipulating the public, noting how Bimpe was always at events.

Speaking out, Bimpe said everyone is entitled to tell their story, and she shared hers to avoid having to explain her experience. Urging the public to do better, she said it’s painful to hear what women are going through.
