Nollywood actress Iyabo has showered prayers on her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, at her baby shower in Canada.

Kemi Filani reported on Sunday that a baby shower was held in Canada for the soon-to-be mum.

In a trending clip, Iyabo was captured raining powerful prayers on Priscilla. She declared that Priscilla’s marriage will work even though hers didn’t. Iyabo declared that Priscilla would grow old with her husband, as he was her destined choice.

“Your marriage will work, you’ll grow old with your husband. He will be beside you from the days of your youth till your old age. Because you have married right. You’ve married the bones of your bones, the flesh of your flesh. If mine didn’t work, yours will work. I have paid that sacrifice for yours to work”.

Iyabo Ojo was once married to the father of her two kids, Priscilla and Festus Ojo, Mr. Ademidun Ojo. Unfortunately, the marriage packed up shortly after the birth of their two children.

Speaking on it, Iyabo in a podcast interview revealed that she experienced poverty for the first time when she married her now ex-husband. She described the experience with her ex-husband as an adventure for her, as she was craving attention, which her now ex was providing to her at that time.

In an interview with Seun Oloketuyi in March, Iyabo stated that she feels like what her children are reaping now is because of her good deeds. The proud mother of two further stated that when parents have kids early, it makes them feel young, as she noted how nobody wants to grow old.

Two years back, Iyabo shared her painful experiences of surviving as a single mother and being treated as a second-class citizen due to her failed marriage. Iyabo recounted how people called her all manner of names because of her failed marriage both in the movie industry and the world at large.
