Former Nigerian dancehall singer Cynthia Morgan has continued to speak out following Jude Okoye’s arraignment by EFCC.

Kemi Filani reported on Wednesday that the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, February 26th arraigned him at FHC in Ikoyi over alleged N1.38 billion fraud.

Cynthia had first reacted to the news, expressing sadness over the Okoye’s brothers fallout as she noted how they could have handled the issues behind closed doors.

In a follow-up post on her Instagram story, she stated that only God will make her forget the 255h of May 2020 when almost every Nigerian called her a liar because Jude and her former manager, Joy, couldn’t own up to their mistakes. She noted how her handler was bullied till she wrote an apology trying to retract my interview.

Morgan stated that her whole world was shattered as her story was retold with lies. However, she is grateful she is alive to see this day.

“Only God will help me forget the 25th of May, 2020, when almost every Nigerian called me a liar because Jude and Joy couldn’t own up to their mistakes. My handler was bullied till she wrote an apology trying to retract my interview. My whole world was shattered my story was retold with lies. I know that is why I am really not connected with this page because of that one experience.
Dividing fans and even arresting a certain young man who sent them a DM threatening to fight them for what they did to me. Thank God I am alive to see this day”.

Cynthia Morgan reacts to Jude Okoye arraignment

In 2020, Cynthia alleged that Jude took over all her social media accounts and stripped her of her name after she opted to leave the label. An accusation Jude denied with proof. The embattled reggae dancer accused him of owing her N7m and continued to drag him, raining curses on him as she wished him suffering and tagged him “evil”.

Reacting to her rants, Jude Okoye mocked her in a sarcastic tweet, sarcastically claiming that Dangote also owes him N20 billion. He added that if he shouted too long, it might also become real.
