THE Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) has announced its Trade and Investment Mission to the United States, set for September 9-15, 2025, in Miami, Florida, under the theme “Flavours Without Borders.”

Led by NACC National President Alhaji Sheriff Balogun, the delegation aims to strengthen trade and investment ties by spotlighting Nigeria’s indigenous foods, spices, and value-added products while exploring U.S. innovations in packaging, labelling, and regulatory compliance.

In a statement co-signed by Ms. Wofai Samuel, Acting Director-General, and Ehi Braimah, its Deputy President,  the NACC said its mission includes participation in the American Food and Beverage Show in Miami and, for some delegates, the PACK EXPO in Las Vegas, a premier global event for packaging and food processing solutions.

Dr. Violet Abdulkadir, chairman of the Trade Mission Committee, emphasised that Nigerian businesses will gain direct access to U.S. distributors, retailers, and investors, alongside insights into food safety, traceability, and sustainability standards.

“This mission fosters technology transfer, strengthens Nigeria’s value chains, and elevates our culinary identity globally,” she said.

Highlights include a networking dinner featuring African-American fusion cuisine, expert-led webinars on export readiness, a product showcase at the World Trade Center Miami, a guided tour of Miami’s Export Processing Zone with Enterprise Florida, and a business-pleasure cruise along Biscayne Bay with U.S. trade representatives.

The initiative also aims to benefit U.S. firms by introducing African consumer products to diaspora markets and forging reliable supply chain links.

Focusing on agriculture, food and beverage, packaging, energy, and consumer goods, the mission reinforces NACC’s role in commercial diplomacy. Participation fees range from $4,180 to $6,430, with registration available at https://lnkd.in/drtPjVzE.
