The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has commended Mashair Adhahabiya (Sana), a service provider, for making tireless efforts in providing hospitality services to Nigerian pilgrims during the 2025 Hajj exercise.
The Chairman/CEO of NAHCON, Prof. Abdullahi Usman, gave the commendation on Sunday during a dinner hosted in honour of NAHCON by Mashair Adhahabiya (Sana) in Makkah to mark the successful conclusion of the Hajj rites.
Usman said that the excellent services provided to Nigerian pilgrims was remarkable.
“We express profound appreciation to Mashair Adhahabiya (Sana) for their tireless efforts in ensuring that our pilgrims got the services they paid for while performing their Hajj rites.
“We thank you all for being part of the successful 2025 Hajj operation,” he said.
The NAHCON CEO also conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President Bola Tinubu to the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for providing support to Nigerian pilgrims during the Hajj operation.
Malam Abubakar Salihu, Executive Secretary, Adamawa State Muslim pilgrims Welfare Commission, expressed excitement over the services rendered to Nigerian pilgrims by Mashair Adhahabiya (Sana).
Salihu recalled that he was part of stakeholders and NAHCON officials who signed agreement with Mashair Adhahabiya (Sana), thanking the company for not disappointing.
He assured the company that NAHCON and the state muslim pilgrims welfare boards would renew the agreement following the feat recorded by the company.
Earlier, the NAHCON management and staff, led by Mashair Adhahabiya (Sana), paid a visit to the Hira Cultural District, also known as Hira Cave where Prophet Muhammad received the first revelations of the Holy Quran.
Speaking on the importance of the visit, the NAHCON CEO described Hira Cultural District as a place attached to Islamic history.
“This place is attached to Islamic history, starting from Prophet Adam, then Nuah and Ibrahim till we come to the top of them, that is Prophet Muhammad.
“We saw very interesting scenes here, just to remember our Islamic history,” he said.The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Hira Cave, also known as Ghar Hira, is located on Jabal al-Nour (Mountain of Light) near Makkah.
It holds immense significance for Muslims as the site where the initial verses of the Quran were revealed to the Prophet. (NAN)
