NDA Opens Portal For 78 Regular Course Admission [See How To Apply]

Nigerian Defence Academy NDA

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced the commencement of online admission applications into its 78 Regular Course, scheduled to open on Friday, November 28, 2025, and close on April 30, 2026.

Naijaonpoint reports that the announcement was contained in a statement released on Wednesday, 26th November, by the Academy’s Registrar, Major Mohammed Maidawa, who confirmed that the admission process is open to eligible male and female Nigerians.

The Academy directed prospective applicants to its official portal, where an access code must be purchased before registration.

“Candidates should log on to the application portal and select Purchase Access Code, then fill in their details,” the statement read.

Applicants will be required to complete payment through Remita using an Order ID and RRR code generated directly on the portal.

The Academy placed a strict condition on payments, pegging the non-refundable application charge at 7,000.

“Generate your Order ID and Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code via the application portal, and proceed to pay the sum of 7,000 through Remita,” the statement noted.

It added a strong warning: “Only payments against RRR Codes generated on the application portal will be accepted. Any other payment will not be recognised.”

The Academy stressed that third-party or externally generated RRR codes will be rejected.

It further emphasised: “Only payment against RRR codes generated via this portal would be accepted.”

This effectively nullifies unverified claims now circulating on social platforms that admission fees can be processed using RRR codes sourced elsewhere.

The Academy urged applicants to read all instructions carefully before submitting their forms to avoid invalid payments or disqualification.

The statement also referenced a prior public notice in August, where the Academy disowned a fake list of successful and reserve candidates for the 2025 Armed Forces Selection Board 2025.

The warning had been issued in Kaduna by the Academy’s spokesperson at the time, cautioning the public to rely only on verified and officially published results and portals.
