The lawmaker representing Delta North Senatorial District, Senator Ned Nwoko, has sparked fresh reactions online after posting a cryptic message amid his ongoing marital conflict with his wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels.
Nwoko, in a social media update, reposted a quote that read, “A narcissist will betray a good man, then act like he’s the one hurting them.”
Though he did not mention names, the timing of the message fuelled speculation as the couple’s marital dispute continues to dominate headlines, with both parties issuing conflicting claims in recent days.
The senator had earlier accused Regina Daniels of substance abuse, insisting she must undergo rehabilitation. He claimed her recent actions, particularly on social media, were signs of an unstable “frame of mind.”
According to him, several of Regina’s recent decisions were not coming from a stable and healthy frame of mind.
Regina, however, publicly refuted the allegations, accusing Nwoko of enabling her drug use while allegedly attempting to control her through forced medical treatment.
She further claimed their marriage was never legally formalised and accused the senator of isolating her from her family.

In a statement released on 𝕏 by his Communication Team lead, Nwoko addressed the controversy that followed after one of the hospitals mentioned in the report initially denied issuing it.
