NeNe Leakes just secured the bag — and made her way back to Bravo in the process.
Media Take Out has learned that the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star has officially settled her long-running discrimination dispute with Bravo and NBCUniversal, and insiders say the deal was worth an estimated $10 million.
As many fans remember, NeNe filed a discrimination lawsuit in April 2022, accusing Bravo, NBCUniversal, and several production companies of fostering a racist and hostile work environment. The legal complaint was explosive, with NeNe alleging that she was pushed out of the franchise after speaking up about discrimination on set.
That lawsuit was later dropped in August 2022, with both sides agreeing to handle the matter through private arbitration rather than continuing the fight in open court.
At the time, many people assumed the case had simply gone away.

The terms of the agreement are said to include a strict non-disclosure clause, which is why neither NeNe nor Bravo has publicly spoken about it.
And here is the part that’s really interesting.
Bravo reportedly admitted no fault in the settlement. That means the network is not acknowledging any wrongdoing or discrimination. They simply chose to resolve the matter financially and move forward.
And what a financial windfall. We’re told that Nene received $10 million for the settlement, which is more than twice her highest salary on any season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
But the money is not the only thing NeNe got.
The settlement also opened the door for her return to the Bravo universe.
TMZ is now reporting that NeNe will be appearing in Bravo’s newly announced project, “The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip.” The series, announced by Andy Cohen at BravoCon, will feature Housewives from different cities traveling together, bringing drama, shade, and reality TV chaos to multiple locations.
And Atlanta is one of those stops.
While NeNe will not be returning as a full-time Housewife, insiders say she will have a major presence when the show reaches Atlanta. In other words, fans will get to see her back on screen, interacting with the Bravo family again, and reclaiming her spot as one of the most iconic women in Housewives history.
This is NeNe’s first Bravo appearance since leaving RHOA after Season 12 in 2020.
Her departure was messy and public, with NeNe openly calling out the network for the way she was treated. Many believed her relationship with Bravo was permanently damaged.
Clearly… it wasn’t.
Now, after years of tension, lawsuits, and behind-the-scenes negotiations, NeNe is back in the fold — and $10 million richer.
