OnePlus seems to be working on a new tablet, and the very first details have just surfaced. This tablet is said to be a mid-ranger, and the details have been shared by Digital Chat Station, one of China’s most prolific tipsters.
OnePlus is planning to deliver a new tablet, here are the very first details
This tablet is said to include the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC. That is one of MediaTek’s newest chipsets. In fact, that chip fuels the OPPO Pad 3. We initially though this could be a rebranded OPPO Pad 3, and this chip only adds more fuel to the fire.
The device will feature an 11.6-inch display with a 2000 x 2800 resolution. The display will offer a 144Hz refresh rate. An 8-megapixel main camera will sit on the back, while an 8-megapixel will also be included on the front.
It will also include a 9,520mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. Yes, those are the exact same specs that the OPPO Pad 3 offers, so this will almost certainly just be a rebranded product. Its name could be the OnePlus Pad 3.
What’s interesting, however, is that the OnePlus Pad 2 includes the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. In other words, it included the most powerful chip on the market at the time, the most powerful it could obtain.
It will seemingly be inferior to the OnePlus Pad 2
The same will not be the case with the OnePlus Pad 3, though, if this is indeed the OnePlus Pad 3. OnePlus opted to go with a mid-range chip this time around. Even the main camera on the device is better than what the new model will get.
It is worth noting that the OPPO Pad 3 costs the equivalent €275/$290 in China. Well, that’s its starting price tag. The OnePlus Pad 3 is expected to have a rather affordable price tag once it arrives.
