Professor of Economics, Pat Utomi has said that Nigeria is still crawling even after 64th independence.
Utomi, made this remark while speaking in Lagos on the nation’s 64th Independence Anniversary.
He said “this country of great potential celebrate 64 is still crawling, it has become the place of domicile of the poorest people of the planet.
“Proven studies for a few years ago showed how in Nigeria That India that is seven times our population ask if anybody feel shame.
“That same year Foundation study shows that in 20 years between Nigeria and Congo-DRC we will account for the most poor people on the planet.
“Ironically both Nigeria and Congo DRC are amongst the most naturally en dowered country on the planet. How how explain to me how the richest can become the poorest.. because they don’t have leaders.
” When their leaders Constitute an army of occupation this is The experience of DRC and Nigeria really have been”.
