Nigerian midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro is on the verge of sealing a season-long loan move from Inter Milan to Serie B newcomers Pisa, with both clubs reportedly finalising the terms of the deal, Footynaija.com reports.

According to Sky Sport Italia via FCInterNews, Pisa will hold an option to buy the 20-year-old at the end of the loan, while Inter have inserted a buyback clause to emphasise their continued interest in the player’s long-term development.

Akinsanmiro, who joined Inter in 2022 after turning heads in Nigeria, has steadily risen through the Nerazzurri’s youth ranks. He impressed at Primavera level and earned a few appearances on Inter’s senior matchday squad last year, including a brief Serie A debut against Lecce in February.

Last season, the dynamic midfielder gained valuable experience during a loan spell with Sampdoria, where he featured regularly and adapted to the rigours of Italian football. That spell was seen as a crucial first step in his transition to senior football.

Now, a move to Pisa represents the next phase of his career. The Tuscan outfit, recently promoted, are eager to bolster their squad with youthful talent, and Akinsanmiro fits that profile perfectly.

Inter Milan reportedly see this loan as a chance for the Nigerian to mature with consistent playing time, while keeping future control of his development should he flourish in Serie A.

The final agreement is expected to be announced soon, barring any late changes.
