The PUNCH: A total of N13,805,814,220 has been proposed for the payment of pensions to former Presidents, Vice-Presidents, Heads of State, Chiefs of General Staff, retired heads of service, permanent secretaries, as well as retired heads of government agencies and parastatals in the 2023 fiscal year.

The Nation: The presidential campaigns of the All Progressives Congress (APC) formally began in Abuja yesterday with a vow by President Muhammadu Buhari to lead it personally. President Buhari made the vow as he inaugurated the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) of APC and unveiled the action plan of the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Conference Centre of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
