Nigerian rapper Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, popularly known as Vector, has reacted to Ademola Lookman’s stellar performance for Atalanta in their 5-1 victory over Empoli, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Super Eagles forward netted a brace in the match to deliver the perfect response to Gian Piero Gasperini’s recent harsh criticism.

Lookman had missed a penalty in Atalanta’s 5-2 aggregate loss to Club Brugge in the UEFA Europa League found himself at the center of a public backlash from his manager, who labelled him “one of the worst penalty takers”

Following the match, Lookman took to social media, posting the phrase “Pain to power,” to show how he had turned the criticism into motivation.

This is not the first time the rapper has weighed in on Nigerian football-related matters. Earlier, he reacted cryptically to the Lookman-Gasperini saga where he referenced Victor Osimhen’s past issues with Napoli regarding alleged disrespect for Nigerian players.
