Nigerian Senator’s Aide Confirmed Dead In Abuja Hospital

According to Ireporter Online, Sani Dangwaggo, a security aide to the Senator representing Sokoto North Senatorial District, Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, has passed away.

Dangwaggo, a retired police officer popularly known as Sani Jaman, reportedly died on Saturday at a private hospital in Abuja after a brief illness. He was 58 years old.

The deceased retired from the Nigeria Police Force in early 2018 with the rank of Inspector, following several years of dedicated service. He was widely regarded by colleagues and associates as disciplined, loyal, and deeply committed to his duties.

Reacting to the development, Senator Wamakko expressed deep shock over the loss in a statement released by his media aide, Bashar Abubakar. The senator described the late officer as a dependable and hardworking member of his security team who discharged his responsibilities with honesty and professionalism.

Senator Wamakko also offered prayers for the repose of the deceased’s soul, asking Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant his family the strength to bear the loss.

“He is one of the most reliable security personnel I have ever worked with. He was honest, and he loved and respected his job,” the senator was quoted as saying.

Sani Dangwaggo is survived by two wives, seven children, and his aged mother, Hajiya Safiya. Members of the family disclosed that details of his funeral prayers would be announced later in accordance with Islamic rites
