Nikki Garcia and Artem Chigvintsev have dropped their restraining orders against each other and have settled their divorce.
On August 29, Artem was charged with corporal injury to a spouse, and he was given a $25,000 bail. In her filing, Nikki states the same date as their separation date. He later claimed that he was also a victim of domestic violence and that the former wrestler physically abused him.
“Nikki and Artem have settled their divorce and will not be going to court,” Garcia’s rep said in a statement. “Both parties decided to drop the domestic violence restraining orders against each other in an effort to move on with their lives and effectively coparent their son.”
The statement continued: “Nikki’s number one priority has always been her son and privacy on the matter. She is thankful for all of the love and support she has received during this difficult time.”
Nikki had been pushing for full custody of their child.
