Controversial Nigerian actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has unleashed a fiery response to online trolls who target her personal life without provocation, sparking widespread buzz across social media.
In a heated video posted on Instagram, the actress, visibly enraged, called out detractors who “marriage shame” and “child shame” her simply because of her public status.
With her signature candour, Nkechi challenged the notion that fame strips her of humanity, declaring, “Is it okay for someone to come at you unprovoked? I’ve always said this. I’m not a celebrity, you know.
“I’ve got blood running through my veins. I am human just like you.”
Addressing her 2.6 million Instagram followers, Nkechi emphasised that her massive online following doesn’t elevate her above anyone else.
“You think because I’ve got millions of followers, I’m not human? I feel pain, I bleed, I cry—just like you,” she asserted, her voice brimming with defiance.
The actress, known for her roles in Nollywood hits and her unfiltered online presence, didn’t hold back in revealing how she tackled one troll directly in her DMs. “You give me, I give you, then everybody go dey okay,” she recounted, describing how her sharp retort left the troll reeling.
“You write plenty, but cry over my one line. You bring rubbish to me, I give you rubbish back.”
