Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Nomy has been disqualified from the reality TV show following repeated defiance of Big Brother’s instructions.
Big Brother announced her disqualification on Monday, citing her repeated disregard for his instructions, rules and punishments.
Nomy had previously received a final strike earlier in the season after repeatedly ignoring Big Brother’s directives, as well as displaying tardiness and selective participation in activities.
The official Big Brother Naija platform had announced on August 9 that Nomy received the first strike of the season for repeatedly defying Big Brother’s instructions. He described the strike as her “last and final warning” and warned that further violations could attract more serious consequences.
Despite the warning, Nomy continued to disregard Big Brother’s instructions, leading to the decision to revoke her right to remain in the competition.
Following the announcement on Monday, Big Brother gave Nomy 30 minutes to pack her belongings and leave the house.
Her disqualification means she is no longer eligible to compete for the grand prize or participate in the remaining activities of the Season 11 “Show Ya Sef” edition.
Nomy, whose real name is Whitney Chukwu, was one of the 24 housemates introduced when the 11th season premiered on July 26, 2026. She was identified at the launch as a 26 year old fashion designer from Anambra State.
The season, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, carries a prize package worth N160 million, comprising N100 million in cash and an SUV.
Nomy’s exit comes after several other housemates have left the competition through the eviction process. Martins and Mercedes were the first two housemates evicted from the season on August 9, while Sultex and Goddessa were among the latest to leave before Nomy’s disqualification.
