Northern Group honours Pastor PeteRock Sadiq with Platinum Leadership award

A group under the auspices of Northern Council of Nigeria, pioneered by the late Sir Ahmadu Bello, Sadauna of Sokoto, has conferred the prestigious Platinum Leadership Award on the Resident Pastor of House on the Rock Minna, Pastor PeteRock Sadiq for his unique style of leadership.

While presenting the award, the Executive Council of the Group led by Comrade Ambassador Stephen Bidemi praised Pastor Sadiq’s leadership and ministry.

According to him “Pastor PeteRock Sadiq is the future in the present, a very colorful individual and one of the most noticeable representatives of our generation.”

“We (youths) recognize him as a
mentor, a model and a personality
with unique qualities, that his unique style of leadership has given us hope as leaders of tomorrow.”

He said further that the Northern Council of Nigeria’s decision to honor Pastor Sadiq with the Platinum Leadership Award is a clear indication of his dedication to promoting positive change in Northern Nigeria.

“His leadership and ministry have inspired countless young people to strive for excellence and work towards a brighter future”, he added.

In his acceptance speech, Pastor PeteRock Sadiq emphasized the importance of teamwork and leadership, noting that no one achieves success alone and that the reward for a good job well done is more work.

While speaking on the issue of banditry and vandalism in parts of Northern Nigeria, Pastor Petrock Sadiq said, “the presence of more leaders, teachers, and mentors will aid in the redirection of the strength of these youths; channeling it to better opportunities and in turn bringing about development to the State and Nation.”

He further emphasized the need for collective efforts in addressing the challenges facing Northern Nigeria, saying, “Anyone who walks alone is merely taking a stroll, but every leader has a great team behind him.”

The award ceremony which marked a significant milestone in Pastor Sadiq’s ministry and a testament to his commitment to empowering youths in Northern Nigeria, was attended by dignitaries from across the region.

It should be noted that Pastor PeteRock is also the convener of SHOUT, successfully hosted the 2024 edition of the event, which welcomed a plethora of esteemed guests, including the Governor of Niger State and five distinguished senators and had over 35,000 people in attendance.

Furthermore, Pastor PeteRock hosts a daily online morning devotion, which takes place every day from 5am to 6am.

This virtual platform has been a blessing to many, with hundreds of life-changing testimonies recorded. Interestingly, members of this devotion community are affectionately referred to as “CITYTAKERS”, symbolizing their commitment to spreading God’s word and making a positive impact in their world.
