‘Not In Our Database’ – APC Denies Viral Membership Slip For Bello Turji

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has clarified that the membership slip for notorious terrorist, Bello Turji, in circulation on social media is fake.

The explanation was contained in a statement on Tuesday by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, who clarified that the purported slip is fabricated.

He denied insinuations that Turji was registered in Zamfara State as a party member in the ongoing APC Electronic Registration and Validation Exercise.

To further buttress his point, Morka said Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State has only 10 Wards while the fake Turji membership slip bears “Ward 13”, thus exposing it as fake.

The APC chieftain maintained that Turji’s details are not in the party’s membership database, and members of the public should ignore attempts by mischief makers to confuse them by attempting to pass off a fake document as original.

The full statement reads: “The attention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to a fake “APC membership slip” in circulation on social media falsely suggesting that a despicable and notorious terrorist, Mohammed Bello Turji, was registered as a member of our Party in the ongoing APC Electronic Registration and Validation Exercise.

“The membership slip is a fabrication, fake and without any association or link whatsoever with our membership register and database.

“All digital parameters represented on the fake slip bear no connection to our Party’s membership register. For example, the slip purports to be registered in a nonexistent “Ward 13” of Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State which only has 10 Wards. All other information paraded on the fake slip are nonexistent and certainly not contained in our membership database.

“This vile fabrication is the handiwork of mischief makers out to hoodwink and confuse members of the public for their own sinister objectives.

“We urge all Party faithful and the general public to disregard the highly offensive document in its entirety.”
