The NPFL match is set to take place on Wednesday, December 11, at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba.

Originally postponed due to Enyimba’s participation in the CAF Confederation Cup, this encounter presents an exciting opportunity for both teams.

Enyimba currently sit in eighth place in the NPFL table, accumulating 21 points from 13 matches, while Sunshine Stars, with 17 points from 15 games, are looking to climb out of the drop zone.

Last season, Enyimba secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Sunshine Stars in this same fixture, thanks to a goal from Mbaoma Chijioke.

Gbenga Ogunbote Targets Win Over Kano Pillars

Shooting Stars’ head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote is shifting focus to the upcoming league clash against Kano Pillars following a 1-0 away victory against Sunshine Stars last Sunday. This win marked Shooting Stars’ first away success of the season.

The Ibadan club will host Kano Pillars at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, on Sunday.

Ogunbote remains optimistic, expressing their intention to secure maximum points at home. He emphasized the importance of concentrating on future matches to ensure continued progress in the league.
