Ogun 1

THE Ogun State Government has announced tomorrow, November 15, will be a work-free day for all civil and public servants in the state.

This announcement was made today in a circular issued by the Head of Service, Kehinde Onasanya.

The circular states that Governor Dapo Abiodun approved this day off to allow civil and public servants to fully engage in the local government elections taking place across the state’s 20 local government areas and 237 wards on Saturday, November 16.

This work-free day is intended to promote active involvement in the electoral process, enabling citizens to fulfill their civic responsibilities without obstacles.

Onasanya noted that this decision reflects Governor Abiodun’s dedication to enhancing democratic participation and civic involvement in Ogun State.

“This aligns with Governor Abiodun’s commitment to prioritize the welfare and engagement of citizens in the democratic system,” Onasanya remarked.
