Olamide Clarifies Misconception About His Lifestyle

Olamide

Ace Nigerian rapper, Olamide Baddo, has dismissed the misconception that he is shy.

Naijaonpoint reports that Olamide made this known during an interview with ‘Ada’s Room’ podcast, stressing that he is not shy but laid back.

He said, “One thing I wish people could understood about me is I am not shy, I am just laid back.”

In response, the host asked: “What is the difference between shy and laid back?

The rapper emphasised that the two words are not the same.

He added, “Shy is when you don’t have the confidence and the charisma to stand people or look them in the eye or have conversations with them.

“But being laid back is you just don’t want to be bothered. People think I am shy but I am not.”

In other news, controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has said his senior colleague, Olamide, will regret not signing him.

Portable made this known in a lengthy post via his Instagram story, stating that he was destined for international fame despite difficulties and professional disagreements.

According to him, he is an artist who rose from “local rapper” to international stardom through perseverance, divine intervention and backing from overseas colleagues like Skepta.

Portable also declared that he is unstoppable, stressing that Olamide will regret not carrying him alongside because he was fighting for his own rights.
