Nigerian singer, Seyi Vibez, has stirred reactions online after attacking fellow music star, Adekunle Gold, over his music and fashion style.
Naijaonpoint reports that the controversy started after Seyi Vibez posted a harsh comment on his 𝕏 account on Friday, in which he described Adekunle Gold as a poor artist with an unimpressive sense of style.
“Adekunle Gold, you’re wack, and your swag is wack. Old fool,” he wrote.
Though Seyi Vibez did not explain the exact reason for the attack, many music lovers believe the issue may be connected to a line from Adekunle Gold’s latest song titled Life Of The Faaji.
In the track, Adekunle Gold mentioned that people prefer his “fuji” and added a line that many listeners think was aimed at Fuji Moto, one of Seyi Vibez’s popular songs.
“They love my Fuji/this one no be Fuji Moto,” he sings.
As of the time of filing this report, Adekunle Gold has not reacted publicly to the comments made by Seyi Vibez.
In other news, Nigerian award-winning singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has said fans should not expect new music from him anytime soon.
Naijaonpoint reports that Davido made this known during a recent livestream with Davrel, announcing an indefinite break from music.
