The United States of America has issued a fresh advisory to visa applicants in Nigeria.

The US Mission in Nigeria through its X avvount urged all applicants to ensure they list all the social media accounts they used with the last five years while making their applications.

The embassy also advised all applicants to ensure they certify that all information added to their D-160 visa application forms is correct before submission.

According to the US Mission attempt to omit vital information such as one’s social media accounts could lead to a visa denial.

It said, “Visa applicants are required to list all social media usernames or handles of every platform they have used from the last 5 years on the DS-160 visa application form.

“Applicants certify that the information in their visa application is true and correct before they sign and submit. Omitting social media information could lead to visa denial and ineligibility for future visas.
