The OnePlus 13R has been doing rounds in the news lately. The upcoming smartphone will imitate the design of its Chinese variant, the OnePlus Ace 5. More recently, the device was spotted on the FCC certification website. Now, folks over at MySmartPrice have spotted one of the models of the OnePlus 13R on Geekbench.
The OnePlus 13R spotted on the Geekbench website with some of the key specs
The purported model of the OnePlus 13R was benchmarked on the Geekbench website with model number “CPH2645.” It has grabbed 2,221 and 6,615 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
The Geekbench listing also confirms that an octa-core SoC will power the OnePlus 13R with one core at 3.30GHz, three cores at 3.15GHz, two cores at 2.96GHz, and two cores at 2.27GHz. Besides, the Geekbench listing also reveals that the OnePlus 13R will come with an Adreno 750 GPU.
It’s worth noting that the GPU further confirms that the device will pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Well, that’s something we have already heard from the company itself. Moving on, the Geekbench listing also hints that the OnePlus 13R will come with a 12GB RAM option.
We are also assuming to see another variant featuring 16GB RAM like its predecessor, the OnePlus 12R. Talking of software, the OnePlus 13R will boot Android 15 out of the box. The OS will be reportedly based on the CPH2645_15.0.0.305(EX01), the latest iteration of the OxygenOS 15. Since the OxygenOS 15 hosts some neat AI features, we expect to witness the same on the OnePlus 13R.
The device could globally launch in January 2025
OnePlus is likely to launch the OnePlus Ace 5 on December 12 in China based on some previous reports. On the other hand, the company is also gearing up for the global launch of the premium OnePlus 13.
The flagship smartphone will likely hit the global market in January 2025. Given the launch timeframe of the OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus 13, it’s safe to assume that we might witness the global launch of the OnePlus 13R in January 2025.
