OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 10 Pro today in China. Another device from OnePlus will be launched in India later this week. The company will debut its affordable flagship, the OnePlus 9RT in India on January 14. The company has confirmed the device’s availability via Amazon India. Its specifications are no mystery as the phone was unveiled last year in China. We can expect the 9RT to come with the same specs to India. 

Ahead of the official announcement, the India variant of the device is listed on Geekbench. Let’s take a look at the OnePlus 9RT specifications, features and other details.

OnePlus 9RT Geekbench

The Geekbench listing of the OnePlus 9RT confirms its performance unit specifications. The device has the model number MT2111. The model number was also previously spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. It will draw power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. It has a peak clock speed of 2.84GHz and comes with three performance cores clocked at 2.42GHz. The octa-core chip has four efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz.

The variant listed on Geekbench has 12GB of RAM. We can expect OnePlus to launch the phone with 8GB of RAM as well. It runs Android 11 out of the box. The device will have a layer of Oxygen OS 11 on top of Android.

OnePlus 9RT MT2111 India Geekbench

The Geekbench listing further reveals that the phone scores 888 and 3319 in its single-core and multi-core tests. We already know other details of the phone. The phone could be priced under Rs 40,000, as per a leak. However, it is best to wait for the official event to get the confirmed pricing.

Specifications and features 

The 9RT sports a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It comes with a flat screen sporting a hole-punch cutout on the top left corner of the screen. The phone also supports a 120Hz refresh rate. 

On the back, there is a triple-camera setup. The phone has a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS. There is also a 16MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. However, you can only pay through a monthly subscription. But something is changing, Google has quietly rolled out an annual subscription for YouTube Premium.  So instead of subscribing monthly, you can simply opt in for the Annual subscription since it saves you some cash in the long run.

How to Subscribe YouTube Premium Yearly

If you aren’t currently subscribed to either YouTube Music or Premium, getting the new annual plan is pretty easy. Just signup as you would, and in the process you’ll see an option to choose monthly or annual subscription.

Annual plans are only for individual subscribers and it’s available in the following countries: United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Russia, Turkey, Germany, Thailand, India, and Japan. Those new to Premium can sign-up on Android or the web (iOS excluded) by:

  • Opening the YouTube or YouTube Music app/website
  • Tap your profile photo > Get YouTube Premium
  • Tap Save money on annual, family or student plan
  • Tap Get Annual Plan, then follow the steps to complete your purchase

How much is Premium Annual Subscription?

The YouTube Premium annual plan will cost you $107.99. Since the monthly plan is $11.99, that means you’ll see a savings of $3-per-month or a total of $36 saved each year. Meanwhile, the premium Music subscription will cost you $89.99 each year, which is a savings of $2.50-per-month or $30 each year.

Samsung Galaxy S22 series is expected to launch next month. The company is yet to announce the official launch date of its next Galaxy flagship series. However, the rumour mill claims that the Galaxy S22 series will launch on February 8. Samsung will launch the Galaxy S22, S22+ and the Galaxy S22 Ultra at the event. Among the three devices, the S22 Ultra is said to get a major redesign. 

Tipster Ishan Agarwal has shared the device’s design renders with MySmartPrice. The images not only confirm some of the previous leaks but also reveal some key details of the top-end Samsung flagship. Let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra design images, specifications and other details.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra design renders

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a rectangular boxy design, similar to what we have seen on the now-dead Galaxy Note series. The phone will fill the Note lineup’s void by offering S Pen support and, more importantly, a slot to store it. Agarwal claims that the latency on the S Pen for the S22 Ultra will be 2.8ms, which is the lowest so far.

The images reveal that the phone has a quad-camera setup on the back. Agarwal also shared the key camera specs and features of the device with MySmartPrice. The phone will have a 108MP Super Clear Lens main camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera. It will also have two 10MP telephoto camera sensors, which are likely to offer 3x and 10x optical zoom support. The camera will support 12-bit HDR recording and also feature auto-frame rate support.

At the front, there will be a 6.8-inch 2X Dynamic AMOLED display with a 2K resolution of 1440 x 3088 pixels. It will have a 120Hz refresh rate support and a hole-punch cutout at the top-center for the 40MP front camera. The screen will use LTPO technology to switch between 1Hz and 120Hz refresh rate. It will also have a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus for protection against scratches and accidental drops. 

The device will weigh about 228 grams and measure 163.3 x 77.9 x 8.9mm. It will have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The phone will also support 45W fast charging, 15W wireless charging for the 5000 mAh battery. For audio, there will be AKG-tuned dual speakers with Dolby Atmos. The device will run Android 11-based OneUI 4.1 out of the box.
