OnePlus recently announced the dates of its Road Trip Futurebound event. The company advertises the event as a journey to “Re-embark to the best of OnePlus.” The official poster from OnePlus reveals that the event will be held between June 16 and August 19. Tipster Abhishek Yadav has revealed that OnePlus would launch the OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone on or after June 16.
The tipster also adds that OnePlus will unveil its OnePlus Fold smartphone on or before August 19. The tipped dates match the previously leaked launch timeline of the smartphones. The company had previously trademarked the moniker.
OnePlus Fold is tipped to feature an 8-inch OLED display with a QHD+ resolution. It would sport a smaller secondary display, a 6.5 inches panel with a Full HD+ resolution. Both displays will have a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Underneath, it will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The chipset is expected to pair up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The device would boot Oxygen OS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.
The upcoming foldable device from OnePlus is tipped to feature a 50MP Sony IMX 890 primary sensor, a 48MP Sony IMX 581 ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 32MP periscope sensor. The punch-hole in the display is tipped to house a 32MP selfie camera. A 4800 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support would back the device.
OnePlus Nord 3 is expected to be a rebranded OnePlus Ace 2V smartphone. The GeekBench listing revealed that it would sport the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. The device would run on Android 13 out of the box. OnePlus would equip the device with a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution.
OnePlus Nord 3 will feature a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The device is expected to be backed by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging tech.
