The management of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ogun State, has come under intense public scrutiny following the emergence of a viral video allegedly showing the enforcement of a controversial âno bra, no examinationâ policy on campus.
The 10-second footage, which surfaced on social media platform đ (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, appeared to show university officials physically checking female students to determine if they were wearing bras before being allowed into examination halls.
In the video, a group of female students were seen standing in line while a female official touched their chests, reportedly to verify compliance with the universityâs undergarment policy. The short clip has since gone viral, igniting a storm of reactions from Nigerians.
While a section of đ users defended the universityâs action, claiming it promotes decency and discipline, others condemned the practice as a gross invasion of privacy and an unnecessary distraction from academic priorities.
