The OPPO Find X8 series is coming, and the base model has seemingly appeared on Weibo. The OPPO Find X8 design has surfaced, showing us the device’s front side. The back side of the phone also got shown here, but that image is reported to be a bit older, and it’s possible that’s not the Find X8. We’re not sure, though. Also, this backplate design does differ from the one that surfaced recently. It remains to be seen which one is accurate.
The OPPO Find X8 design appears with razor-thin bezels
If you take a look at the two images in the gallery below, you’ll be able to see the device in the flesh. Do note that we’re still not 100% sure this is the final product, but it sure seems to be, at least as the front side is concerned.
As you can see, a flat display is used, with a centered display camera hole at the top. The bezels are extremely thin, as expected. Ice Universe, a well-known tipster, actually said that the OPPO Find X8 will have the thinnest bezels in the industry.
You’ll notice that its power/lock and volume up and down buttons are placed on the right side. The alert slider is visible on the left side. What about the back?
Well, OPPO will seemingly keep a camera oreo on the back, but it will look a bit different this time around if this leak is accurate. It will blend in more with the backplate, at least when it comes to this black version of the phone.
The device will seemingly have three cameras on the back
The cutouts have also been rearranged, as there will be four of them. OPPO seems to be using three cameras on the back of this phone. That makes sense, as the OPPO Find X7 had three cameras too.
One of those cameras is a periscope telephoto unit. The other two are almost certainly wide and ultrawide units. The OPPO Find X8 Ultra is also coming, and that phone is expected to have three cameras on the back. The OPPO Find X8 Pro is also a possibility.
The back side of the phone seems to be flat, while the camera oreo is contained in the upper portion of the phone’s back. That camera oreo will protrude, yes, of course. You can also see the OPPO branding in the middle of the backplate.
The OPPO Find X8 is expected to ship with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor. That is MediaTek’s upcoming flagship chip. The OPPO Find X8 Ultra, on the other hand, will likely utilize a new flagship chip from Qualcomm, which could be called the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
