OPPO launched the Reno8 series smartphones in China a few months back. The company released the OPPO Reno8 Pro+, Reno8 Pro, and the vanilla Reno8. The Reno8 series is expected to launch in India as well as the global markets going forward. A few days back, we spotted the OPPO Reno 8 Pro 5G global variant with Dimensity 8100 SoC, which is quite different from the Chinese version of the device.
Now, tipster Yogesh Brar has tweeted about the expected launch date for the launch of the Reno8 series in India. According to Yogesh, the Oppo8 Pro will come with MarisiliconX in India and along with the Pro model, the series will also consist of another device in India. The OPPO Reno8 Pro with MarisiliconX is tipped to launch in India by mid-July, which means we can expect the device to launch in the first couple of weeks in July. Along with the Pro version of the device, the vanilla OPPO Reno8 is also expected to launch in India. Going by the past leaks and rumours, here is what we can expect from these two devices.
OPPO will announce the Reno8 Pro with MarisiliconX in India by mid-July. This offcourse will be coming alongside the regular Reno8.

OPPO Reno8 Pro, Reno8: Specifications
Based on the recent Geekbench listing, it looks like the Reno8 Pro+ from China will launch as Reno8 Pro in India. If that’s the case, we are expecting the device to come with Dimensity 8100 Max SoC and MariSilicon X chip, which will improve the camera performance on the device. The phone is expected to pack in up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS3.1 storage. The Reno8 Pro in India might feature a 120Hz 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display.
Further, in terms of camera, we can expect the phone to pack in a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro snapper. For selfies, we can expect a 32MP Sony IMX709 snapper on the front for selfies. Other specs include a 4500mAh battery and 80W Super Flash charging.
On the other hand, the OPPO Reno8 will feature a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display and a 90Hz screen refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Dimensity 1300 SoC from MediaTek with up to 3GHz clock speed. Further, the Reno8 comes with a 50MP main camera and a 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor on the front for selfies. The handset comes with a 4,500mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging.
