Juventus are plotting ambitious summer moves for Nigerian stars Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman, as the race for the duo intensifies across Europe, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen appears set for a high-profile exit from Napoli at the end of the season following an excellent spell in Turkey with Galatasaray.

After a Scudetto-winning year in 2022/23, Napoli failed to hit the same heights last season, with Osimhen joining Galatasaray on loan this term following the arrival of Romelu Lukaku in Naples.

Osimhen rediscovered his best form in Istanbul, scoring 29 goals and leading Galatasaray’s charge for a league and couple double.

Now a cult hero among the club’s fans, Galatasaray have keen to keep Osimhen permanently.

According to TMW, while Osimhen remains open to staying in Turkey, Galatasaray face two hurdles in pulling of a deal: the club must qualify for the Champions League, and Napoli would need to lower their asking price.

Osimhen’s current release clause stands at €75 million for foreign clubs. With his contract expiring in 2026, Napoli risk losing him on a free if a compromise isn’t reached soon.

Manchester United are also monitoring the situation closely. With manager Ruben Amorim seeking an experienced striker to support Rasmus Højlund, Osimhen’s name has re-emerged at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Juventus are also in the frame.

While the club is not planning a major overhaul, sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is eyeing three strategic additions: a box-to-box midfielder, a centre forward, and a wide attacker.

According to reports, Newcastle’s Sandro Tonali is being considered as a midfield reinforcement. In attack, Juventus are interested in Osimhen, though his price tag may be out of reach. Højlund has been identified as a potential alternative if Osimhen proves too costly.

Juventus are also tracking Ademola Lookman, whose performances for Atalanta this season have impressed the Bianconeri hierarchy.

The 27-year-old has thrived in Bergamo, offering pace, creativity, and a consistent goal threat from wide areas.

Should Lookman sign, he would become only the third Nigerian ever to play for Juventus, following in the footsteps of Sunday Oliseh and Benjamin Onwuachi.
