Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji has approved the appointment of Chairmen and members of the governing councils of three tertiary institutions in the state.
The institutions are: Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti; Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti and Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti.
The governing council for EKSU, according to a statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Yinka Oyebode, are:
Professor Akin Oyebode, Pro Chancellor and Chairman of Council. Members are Professor Demola Omojola, Chief Bayo Awosemusi, Dr. Israel Ovirhi, Arch Dipo Ajayi, Foluso Olaniyan, Bunmi Akingba, Rotimi Esho, Professor C.O. Kolawole and Alhaji Abdusalam Babatunde
Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN) is the Chancellor, Governing Council for BOUESTI.
Other members are Professor Dipo Aina, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council; Professor Dele Olowokudejo; S.I. Folorunso; Alaba Olusola Ibitoba; Iyabo Obasa Chief Bola Fasuan; Dr. Isah Emmanuel Aileonokhuoya and Professor Sehinde Oluwatosin.
For EKSUTH, Dr. Adedamola Dada is the Chairman, Governing Council. Other members are Dr. Adebola Orimadegun, Dr. J. O. Oguntoye, Alhaja Muibat Akingbade, Prince Soji Agunbiade, Ilesanmi Simon Olugbenga and Adetunji Kolawole.
The date for the inauguration ceremony will be announced later, the statement said.
