Paul Mack was found guilty of rape and murder in Sacramento County, California, in February 1987, Paul was also a suspect in another rape and murder that took place in Crawford County, Ohio in 1981.

Paul Mack was caught and arrested after his fiancé Margie Danielsen recognized him on an Investigation Discovery TV show ‘Evil Lives Here,’.
Margie Danielsen met the killer and rapist Paul Mack in the bar, he then introduced himself as Sean Paul Lanier, Margie did not know the whole truth about him and dint know that Paul was wanted by the police.
Margie and Paul dated for some time until she agreed to wed him, however, after a few weeks of their togetherness, through her friend, Margie sported Paul Mack on an episode of America’s Most Wanted.

After identifying Paul on the show, Margie started to investigate further about Paul, she collected evidence which included his two social security cards and a glass containing his fingerprints, before going to the police.
The killer and rapist Paul was arrested and charged with the first-degree murder of Karen by Salt Lake City in March 1998. In 1991, Paul was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison after being convicted.
Paul Mack was transported to the California Health Care Facility in Stockton in 2017, where he died of natural causes a year later.
After Paul’s death, his attorney contacted the authorities to inform them that his client had confessed to Annette’s murder.

Mack Paul’s victims include Annette Ramelle Huddle, a 19-year-old woman who had been employed as a secretary at the Marion County Country Club in July 1981.
Annette Ramelle Huddle was last seen on July 8, 1981, and her body was found the next day in Clairdon Township near the Roberts Road bridge by a family member.
The Forensic Science Center at Hamilton County then found out that Annette had been raped and strangled to death. Later on, after investigation Paul Mack was found a prime suspect in her death.
The second victim was Karen Grace Winslett. She a 21-year-old waitress at the Peppermill Restaurant and part-time model living with her 27-year-old boyfriend David Samas. The two lived in their Citrus Heights apartment in Sacramento County in February 1987.
According to the autopsy report, Karen Grace Winslett was sedated with Percodan and raped, however, her cause of death was determined to be an overdose of the sedative. After a good investigation in this case Paul was found a suspect too.
Paul was required to be in jail in early April 1987, however, he fled to Utah, where he met Margie who was 37-year-old single mother by then.
