Taking to her Instagram story, she revealed her father’s reaction to the news of her pregnancy during a Question and Answer session with her fans. According to her, she told him about her pregnancy in February while she was in London, and he took it like how every Igbo father took it. She disclosed that he was quiet and didn’t express much but he was supportive from the beginning to the end.

Vanessa added that the day he set his eyes on her daughter, Zariah, there was a priceless boy on his face as he was over-excited. Praying for him, she added that he had her back through it all.

“Lol when I got to London in February, I told him.

He took it like every Igbo father would take it tbh

He was quiet and didn’t express much but he was supportive from the beginning to the end. If you know my father he doesn’t talk too much.

The day he set his eyes on Zariah there was this joy in his heart, he was over-excited lol

God bless my Daddy for real! Because he had my back through it all”.

In another post, she revealed how she felt when she found out she was pregnant, admitting that she had mixed feelings as she was scared, worried, and happy. She noted how bringing a child into the world is a different ball game as she read every book, researched everything, and prepared herself so much, but the moment she saw her daughter, she was filled with joy and was complete.

“This is a very deep question lol.

But I won’t lie, I had mixed feelings. I was scared, worried, and happy, lol, just filled with different emotions.

Bringing a new child into this world is a different ball game altogether.

I read every good, researched everything I could, and prepared myself so much. But the moment I set my eyes on her, I was filled with joy, and I was complete. There is this feeling I can’t even explain lol”.

She stated that she wasn’t ready for social media at the time, so she was happy that she was able to stay away from it.

“The first trimester was a bit hard but the rest of the journey was actually very smooth.

A lot of morning sickness lol but I drank a lot of orange juice that worked for me

I had a small belly bump as well so I was still able to live a normal life without anyone knowing I was pregnant. I really wasn’t ready for social media at the time. So I am happy I was able to stay away from it”.

Recall that before her pregnancy announcement, Vanessa had denied the news of her pregnancy. Netizens had remarked about her showing a bump when she shared a video of herself in a white outfit. Following the speculation about her pregnancy, many took to her comment section to congratulate her on her upcoming bundle of joy.

She, however, shut down the pregnancy rumors when she queried one of those who commented on her bump, questioning if she was the one who impregnated her.
