Nigerian singer Peter Okoye of Psquare has responded to a troll who admonished him to reconcile with his twin brother.

The troll, via the micro-blogging platform Twitter, now known as X, questioned why he couldn’t kill pride, make peace with his brother, and make money. He admonished him to be like Wike and Fubara, focusing on the money rather than his feelings.

The X user said he misses P-Square and no one else can compare to them. He noted how Peter now looks like an upcoming artist, and his struggling with music.

“Why can’t you just kill the pride, make peace with your brothers and make money.

Be like Wike and Fubara.
Focus on the money, not your feelings.

We miss Psquare and no other duos like Psquare.

You alone make you look like an upcoming artist, you’re struggling with your music”.

Responding to him, Peter told him to cry harder and gave him a bucket to cry more.

“Cry harder! Take this”.

Hitting back at him, the troll expressed his happiness that Peter had responded, as he was one of the people who helped his music go global with his platform back in the day. The troll said that seeing him sink, being a living legend, is a pity due to pride and bad advice, which are destroying him.

“I’m happy you responded to this.

I can gladly say that I was one of the people who made your music go global with my platform back in the day. So, seeing you sinking while you’re living legends is a pity because of pride and bad advice; they are destroying what you’ve built”.

Peter responded to him with more buckets.

On his Twitter page, a while back, Peter, while responding to a tweep, announced the end of their band. Peter made it known that there is no Psquare anymore; he is his own Square. He said that Jude and Paul are the new Psquare and urged Nigerians to manage them.

Months back, Peter threw a subtle shade at his family as he sent a message to the general public, stating that one shouldn’t allow family to be the reason they’re drowning in silence. He noted how he did for over 20 years, and it cost me everything. Peter noted how love doesn’t manipulate, loyalty doesn’t betray, and family doesn’t steal from you.

Recall that in 2023, Psquare had fallen out again because of the joint funds being diverted by their elder brother, Jude Okoye.

Peter, noted how Paul, rather than joining forces with him to reclaim their number one spot in the music industry, chose to team up with their elder brother, Jude, to marginalise and humiliate him.
