The National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, better known as MC Oluomo, led a high-profile delegation to meet with the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, at the minister’s office in Abuja on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

The visit, which was announced through a statement shared on MC Oluomo’s official Instagram account, aimed to strengthen collaboration between the NURTW and the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy.

Accompanying the NURTW President were prominent officials of the union, including the National Secretary, Kayode Agbeyangi, and Sulaimon Ojora, also known as Kudeleti, who serves as the Lagos State NURTW Council Treasurer and Chief of Staff to the NURTW National President.

In the statement, MC Oluomo expressed the significance of the visit, describing it as a strategic move to build alliances with key government stakeholders.

The statement read: “Today, Wednesday, December 11, 2024, marked a significant occasion as Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya (MC Oluomo), the National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola, at his office in Abuja.

“Accompanying the NURTW President on this esteemed visit were key union officials, including Comrade Kayode Agbeyangi, National Secretary of the union, and Comrade Sulaimon Ojora (Kudeleti), State Treasurer of NURTW Lagos State Council, who also serves as the Chief of Staff to the NURTW National President.
