5:40PM – Looks like that’s a wrap, coming in at a pretty standard 40-minute length. Things closed out with a bit of hardware news, including an affordable PS5 digital edition that, naturally, is Japanese-language-only. Nothing too game-changing today, but plenty of new release dates to appreciate, and Nightreign players got to walk away with some big news. Thanks for following along!
5:38PM – It looks like a lot will be coming in Forsaken Hollows, with a new Nightfarer, new bosses, and content from Shadow of the Erdtree. Also seems like some entirely new lore is on its way, as I’ve never heard of a “dreglord” before.

5:28PM – We’re back to Square Enix with a look at Octopath Traveler 0, which will be out on December 4. A character just said “You’re finally awake,” confirming that some RPG tropes never die.
5:26PM – Runnign through some games rapid-fire again. Currently, the anime-style tactical shooter Fate Trigger is getting a highlight.
5:25PM – That was BlazBlue Entropy Effect X, following up the previous BlazBlue Entropy Effect.
5:24PM – Arc System Works is showing off a sci-fi 2D action game. Might not be a new reveal, but it’s not one I happen to recognize.
5:22PM – Spending a decent chunk of time here on Never Grave: The Witch and the Curse, a 2D Metroidvania coming on March 5 next year. Like most recent 2D Metroidvanias, you can identify some probable Hollow Knight influence, but not to an egregious degree.
5:20PM – And Spongebob is coming to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, of course. I know I just got excited for The Big O in Super Robot Taisen, but on the whole, the “This IP Joins That IP” is getting exhausting.

Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4 Release Date
Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4 is coming on December 16, bringing Gogmazios with it.
5:18PM – Discussison has shifted to in-game content for Katamari, Pac-Man World 2 Re-PAC (which is getting a Sonic crossover), Digimon Story: Time Stranger, and more. The new Super Robot Taisen is getting a Big O crossover, which is admittedly the most interested I’ve ever been in the franchise.
5:15PM – And No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES is making its way to PS5 on February 26.
5:14PM – Wuxia RPG Wandering Sword is coming to PS5 next year. It’s a HD-2D game that’s already earned a solid reputation on PC.
5:12PM – We’ve pivoted now to Gran Turismo, a series that’s been struggling to recapture its classic prestige. More content for Gran Turismo 7 is coming soon, whether or not the community is eager to embrace it.

5:09PM – Koei Tecmo is here to discuss the Fatal Frame 2 remake. I’m often not a big fan of remakes, but I have to admit, the inclusion of more in-depth camera features is a big selling point here.

4:50PM, Ben – PlayStation’s November 2025 State of Play is just about to start, but this one’s a little different from most. The newest State of Play will focus on “games created in Japan and across Asia“, hosted by Japanese voice actor Yuki Kaji. It’s possible we could be getting some big news, like an update on Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3, but Sony hasn’t shared any details about which games to expect. If you’re looking to follow along in English, the stream will have subtitles, and I’ll also be covering all the reveals live here.
