Rapper Plies has finally dropped his lawsuit against Soulja Boy after suing him for allegedly sampling his hit song “Me & My Goons” in “Wanna Be.”

Plies also dropped his lawsuits against Megan Thee Stallion, GloRilla, and Cardi B.

The lawsuit was dropped “without prejudice,” meaning he could refile in the future.

Soulja took to the internet to react to the news, sharing a screenshot of a Billboard article announcing the dropped suit along with a message for Plies:  “Just like I thought sit yo lil broke ass down n—a. This my s–t dummy.”

Last year, Soulja went on a rant against Plies, accusing him of needing the money and denying that the sample belonged to him.

“‘Pretty Boy Swag’ is not your [beat],” Soulja said at the time. “So you wanna wait 10 years to try to sue a n—a for a beat? That is not your beat, crazy man. What the f–k is wrong with you, Plies? You need to change your name to ‘Lies,’ ’cause you a muthaf–kin’ liar. You know that ain’t your muthaf–kin’ beat, bro,” he added. “That beat is all original music. You only could sue somebody if they sample your song and don’t get it cleared. That is not a sample, bro.”
