Police uncovers baby factory, rescues pregnant women in Delta



Police operatives in Delta have found a baby manufacturing unit in Okpanam group, Oshimili North Native Authorities Space of the state.

The spokesman for the state police command, DSP Shiny Edafe, who disclosed this in an announcement on Thursday in Asaba, stated operatives connected to the State Investigation Division (SID) additionally rescued three pregnant women from the manufacturing unit.

He stated: “Performing on data, on July 10, 2022, at about 7.30 p.m., operatives of the State Investigation Division stormed a baby manufacturing unit in Okpanam group, Oshimili North LGA.

“The operatives rescued three pregnant women whereas two suspects; Promise Ejogu and Aruna Sulieman, have been arrested.

“The syndicate saved the women and engages them in sexual actions to get them pregnant.”
