Popular Twitch streamer Marlon Garcia was taken to the hospital after getting Gorilla Glue stuck in his eye.
On Tuesday, Garcia updated his fans on his current condition and informed them that his eye may not get much better, and he may have been left permanently blind in his left eye.
“It’s been bad bro, to be honest. All trolling aside, I woke up one day and my eye was super, super red. I’m not one to go to the doctors, so I said, ‘F–k it, it’ll work itself out.’ That was my left eye,” said Garcia.
He continued, “It kind of went [away] that day, and I woke up the next day and it was my right eye, and it was fully red. I was like, ‘What the f–k is going on?’ I couldn’t stream because it hurt so much. My eye was just shutting slowly.”
He had used Gorilla Glue the day before and likely got it in his eye. His eye was flushed, but doctors did not seem hopeful that they could save his eye.
Gorilla Glue has gone viral in the past, but the most viral incident was back in 2021 when Jessica Brown filmed herself using the industrial strength adhesive to gel her hair. She eventually received medical help to remove the glue and most of her hair.
