Despite the spiritual boost before the game, Osayi-Samuel had limited impact during his 21-minute cameo in Fenerbahçe’s 2-0 victory over Alanyaspor.

The right-back had been benched for three consecutive matches before earning a chance to feature under José Mourinho after coming in for injured Oguz Aydin.
The fixture saw Sebastian Szymański break the deadlock with a well-placed strike in the 22nd minute of the game, while new signing Anderson Talisca sealed the win with a powerful header to ensure Fenerbahçe continued their impressive form.
Following the victory, Fenerbahce still sits second in the standings with three points behind league leaders, Galatasaray.
For Osayi-Samuel, he will be hoping to earn more minutes in upcoming matches as Fenerbahçe remains in contention for silverware this season.
