The Kaduna State Governor stated this at a town hall meeting and event for the ₦200 billion Presidential Intervention Fund and Loans Scheme for SSMEs, organized by the Federal Government in collaboration with the Bank of Industry, in Kaduna, on Tuesday. Represented by Special Adviser on Economic Matters, Mr Ibrahim Muhammad, Sani noted that Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises remain the pillar of economic growth in any country. He explained that the fund would help in revitalizing small-scale businesses and manufacturing enterprises across the nation and in Kaduna. “This massive presidential initiative is proof that President Tinubu is a listening leader. “Through these stimulus packages, small businesses and manufacturing enterprises will be revitalized, significantly benefiting both sub-national economies and Nigeria as a whole,” the Nation quoted him. While commending the timing of the fund, Governor Sani, said his administration was committed to providing the support environment for the growth of business. He called on participants to make good use of the opportunity. He advised beneficiaries to see the fund as a boost to their business. According to him, through the initiative, the country’s unemployment would be reduced, as jobs would be created.
