Some Muslim youths and organizations have staged a protest after a woman was allegedly raped in one of the mosques in Ibadan.
According to a source, the incident happened when the son of a road transport worker identified as Idris sneaked into the mosque and raped a niqobite.
In a chat with Sahara reporters, the source stated that the case has been transferred to the police and the state criminal Investigation Department (SCID)
Concerned Muslims led by Sheikh Amubieya had a peaceful protest demanding justice for the victim.

Cutemikky wrote: “So they can protest? If the suspect happens to be a Christian they would have set him on fire by now.”
