PSC Fixes Date For 596 SPs, 56 CSPs Promotion Exams [Full List]

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has scheduled the promotion examinations and interactive sessions for senior police officers seeking elevation to the ranks of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) and Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).

According to an official wireless message issued by the Nigeria Police Force Secretary on November 25, 2025, Superintendents of Police (SPs) shortlisted for promotion to CSP will take their examination and interview on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

The exercise will hold at the Parry Osayande Auditorium, PSC Headquarters, Jabi, Abuja, at 8 am.

Officers are directed to report first to their commanders by 7am for briefing before being conveyed to the venue.

A total of 596 SPs were listed to attend, including Bilikisu Shaibu, Ibironke Latifat Aremu, Fatima Yop Ayuba, Fati Alfa, Gimba Audu, Adeyinka Folarin Adeniran, Ibe Ngozi Perpetual, Abdulmalik Abubakar, Bolanle Lizzy Olorundare, Joe Babatunde Oloruleke, Abubakar Abdullahi Ibrahim, Sade Ajibola, Tyonongu Comfort Doosuur, Babangida Mohammed Nuhu, Dauda Yarima Haruna, Chika Sani, Grace Unwubiko and Dauda Joseph.

Similarly, the Commission fixed Monday, December 1, 2025, for the promotion examination and interactive session for Chief Superintendents of Police vying for the rank of ACP.

The exercise will also hold at the Parry Osayande Auditorium at 8am, with officers expected to report to their commanders by 7am.

The PSC also directed all participating officers to revise their professional knowledge, core departmental duties, local laws, and relevant acts before the exam.

The dress code for the sessions is the conventional black jacket, beret and swagger cane. Officers from tactical units are to appear in a black shirt over green denim, with a beret.

The message further directed the AIG MOPOL to deploy 12 armed personnel for escort duty on both days.

Transport and Logistics (TRANSFOR) are to provide: One serviceable vehicle for senior officers; Two Hilux vans placed on standby at Force Headquarters by 6 am.
