Pusha T and Kanye West have not been close for quite some time, but fans still hoped they’d hop on wax together some time in the future, but the Clipse rapper says a future music collaboration is unlikely.
In his interview with the Guardian, Push first spoke about the good times.
“Just as a rap aficionado, well, being there was special! Creating So Appalled and New God Flow were some of my favourite memories. The Good Friday series, that was crazy, too,” he told the outlet.
He continued, “The albums I dropped during that time, like Daytona and It’s Almost Dry, they are very, very strong offerings. It goes without saying that me and Ye made great things together.”
He was then asked about a potential future collaboration.
“Yeah, that’s in the past. That’s definitely in the past,” he stated.
Earlier this month, Ye shared on X, formerly Twitter, that he missed his friendship with the Virginia rapper.
Pusha T left GOOD Music after West’s antisemitic and other controversial statements in 2022.
