Qantas defends new menu with extra choices after recent meal grievance

Qantas hit again after one among its frequent prospects criticized the airline for an absence of meals choices on home flights.

John Dee, managing director of DoSomething, made headlines in September when he criticized Qantas for its lack of accessible vegan choices throughout a flight from Adelaide to Sydney.

And whereas the airline has made efforts to spice up the vary of its menus, Mr D nonetheless feels Qantas does not cater to everybody.

Talking with NCA NewsWire on Saturday, Mr. Dee claimed there was an absence of choices on some home haul flights and criticized the supply of snacks distributed on shorter flights.

“I would like to see Qantas get again to the extent we’re used to,” Mr. Dee mentioned.

“If they do not begin providing meals on a bigger scale, I might think about switching to Virgin.

“Virgin’s meals providing is wider, and I can select no matter I would like. At Qantas proper now, you are not going to get a meal that can fill you up.

“The present launch will not be the form of factor that Australians are happy with and… I simply need to see a return to that top degree.”
