Quail Valley Middle School in Fort Bend ISD has extra police on campus after a shooting threat

Missouri City, Texas (KTRK) – Additional cops at Quail Valley Middle School in Fort Bend ISD on Friday following a shooting threat.

The district said there was no evidence to suggest he posed a real threat to the safety of students or staff, but they wanted to take precautions anyway.

“Out of an abundance of caution, our campus will be augmented with additional officers today,” said a statement from the Fort Bend ISD.

The district did not provide further details about the threat to shoot the school.
